Great opportunity: we are hiring a sample machinist in Franklin County, Illinois. The job is at a knitwear stitching unit. Requirements: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line You will sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality.
