Finishing presser — Madison County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a finishing presser in Madison County, Mississippi. The job is at a dry cleaner's. Your main tasks: • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
