Fabrication workshop technician — Watonwan County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Watonwan County, Minnesota. You will work on site fitting windows in new-build flats. Your main tasks: • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square What we are looking for: • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors Overtime paid at a premium rate.
