Argon arc welder — Pike County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Pike County, Georgia. Requirements: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Your main tasks: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
