Fusing press operator — Grant County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Grant County, Arkansas. You will work at a textile finishing unit. You will set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents. What we are looking for: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep 2+ years on the tools preferred.
