Great opportunity: insulation worker (Kano State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an insulation worker in Karaye, Kano State. The job is on flat roofs and terraces. Your main tasks: • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters • Prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application Ideal candidate: • Willing to travel between sites • Working-at-height certificate an advantage • Able to read construction drawings and specifications Overtime paid at a premium rate.
