Thermal insulation technician — Edgar County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Edgar County, Illinois. The job is at an industrial plant. Day to day you will apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling; fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors; measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings; lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding; install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations; install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls • Willing to travel between sites Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
