Concrete finisher • Cass County, Illinois

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Cass County, Illinois. On a typical shift you will discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength. You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods Six days a week, one day off.
