Body shop technician — Rush County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a body shop technician in Rush County, Indiana. You will be based at a commercial fleet workshop. The role involves shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer; treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection; check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull; replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers; straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains; measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line. What we are looking for: • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding • Attention to detail and a clean, even finish • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
