What we are looking for: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools Day to day you will spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
