Argon arc welder wanted in Jackson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Jackson County, Minnesota. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Your main tasks: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel What we are looking for: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
