Wood machinist — Greene County

Join our team: we are hiring a wood machinist in Greene County, Iowa. The role involves: • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions Requirements: • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent 6+ years on the tools preferred.
