VMC operator • New Madrid County, Missouri

Join our team: we are hiring a VMC operator in New Madrid County, Missouri. The job is at a fabrication and machining plant. Day-to-day duties: • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm What we are looking for: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
