We are recruiting: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Durham County, North Carolina. The role involves: • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss What we are looking for: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites 6+ years on the tools preferred.
