Gas installation technician — Stanislaus County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Stanislaus County, California. What we are looking for: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration Day-to-day duties: • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
