Conventional mill operator — Taliaferro County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Taliaferro County, Georgia. You should have: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift On the job you will handle: • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter We offer $2,700 per month plus benefits.
