Pastry baker — Ouray County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pastry baker in Ouray County, Colorado. You should have: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving On the job you will handle: • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream Full-time with occasional weekends.
