Urgent requirement: we are hiring a groundsman in Polk County, Oregon. The job is at a private estate garden. Requirements: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules On the job you will handle: • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds Six days a week, one day off.
