Lathe operator — Elk County

Now hiring: we are hiring a lathe operator in Elk County, Kansas. The job is at a busy manufacturing plant. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety On a typical shift you will top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; set up and start the machine as per the job card; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Contact us to fix an interview.
