Paint and prep technician — Hockley County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Hockley County, Texas. You will be based at a dealership paint shop. What we are looking for: • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand Your main tasks: • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels We offer $3,300 per month plus benefits.
