Refrigeration installation technician — Norman County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a refrigeration installation technician in Norman County, Minnesota. You will work in an HVAC service company. On a typical shift you will check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
