Vacuum press operator wanted in Jefferson Davis Parish

Join our team: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Jefferson Davis Parish, Louisiana. You will work at a garment factory. On a typical shift you will set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure. What we are looking for: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases 3+ years on the tools preferred.
