Ironing operator — McLean County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an ironing operator in McLean County, North Dakota. You will work at a dry cleaner's. Ideal candidate: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work The role involves: • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots Six days a week, one day off.
