Bar bender and fixer wanted in Logan County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Logan County, Arkansas. You will work on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Day to day you will check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $4,100 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
