Wheel loader operator • Clinton County, Michigan

Immediate opening: we are hiring a wheel loader operator in Clinton County, Michigan. You will be based at a road-building project. What we are looking for: • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise Your main tasks: • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
