Urgent requirement: safety inspector (Iowa)

Join our team: we are hiring a safety inspector in Lyon County, Iowa. You will work at a busy construction site. Day to day you will conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot Full-time with occasional weekends.
