Immediate opening: cold room technician (Iowa)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cold room technician in Johnson County, Iowa. You will be based at a supermarket cold-chain site. You will recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves; service split AC units and VRF systems; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge. Requirements: • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders 2+ years on the tools preferred.
