Vacancy available: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Claiborne County, Mississippi. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams The role involves operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift. $190 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
