Vacancy available: we are hiring a plant operator in Gallatin County, Illinois. The job is at a landfill site. You should have: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster On the job you will handle: • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely Full-time with occasional weekends.
