We are recruiting: argon welding operator (Idaho)

Join our team: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Butte County, Idaho. You will be based on a structural steel site. Your main tasks: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Full-time, day shift.
