Foundry worker wanted in Lyon County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a foundry worker in Lyon County, Kentucky. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Basic grinding and fettling skills You will apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
