Gardener — Scott County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gardener in Scott County, Indiana. You will be based at a private estate garden. Requirements: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance The role involves: • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Share your details and we will call you back.
