UPVC welding machine operator — Union Parish

Join our team: we are hiring an uPVC welding machine operator in Union Parish, Louisiana. You will work on a window-and-door production line. On a typical shift you will drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame; insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees; take site measurements of openings before fabrication; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash. You should have: • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres 2+ years on the tools preferred.
