Port container crane operator wanted in Mercer County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Mercer County, West Virginia. On a typical shift you will watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports. Ideal candidate: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • A good head for heights for tower crane work Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
