Car painter • Kitsap County, Washington

Immediate opening: we are hiring a car painter in Kitsap County, Washington. You will work in an automotive paint and panel workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
