Requirements: • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Valid driving licence for field call-outs The role involves clean condenser and evaporator coils; read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges; check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge; trace electrical circuits with a multimeter.
