Vacancy available: electrostatic spray painter (Michigan)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an electrostatic spray painter in Kalamazoo County, Michigan. You will be based in a busy paint shop. On a typical shift you will pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks; record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness; inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches; keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well; reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse. You should have: • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
