Ideal candidate: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Day to day you will install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers.
