Vacancy available: we are hiring a brick mason in Frontier County, Nebraska. What we are looking for: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day The role involves: • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish $170 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
