Urgent requirement: we are hiring a panel welder in Coffee County, Alabama. You will be based at an automobile body shop. The role involves: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls Ideal candidate: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
