Formwork joiner — Charlotte County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Charlotte County, Virginia. You will work on a busy high-rise construction site. On the job you will handle: • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure Ideal candidate: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
