Scaffolding supervisor — Alger County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a scaffolding supervisor in Alger County, Michigan. You will be based on an industrial refinery shutdown. You should have: • Able to read basic scaffold drawings • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang You will fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid; set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground; dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely; install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts; read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class. 2+ years on the tools preferred. $240 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
