Great opportunity: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Capitol Planning Region, Connecticut. Your main tasks: • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure Ideal candidate: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Able to read load charts and lifting plans $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
