Immediate opening: crawler crane operator (Abia State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Umuahia South, Abia State. The job is in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. Your main tasks: • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands Requirements: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Current medical and eyesight certificate Performance bonus on top of base pay.
