The role involves: • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair Requirements: • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale 6+ years on the tools preferred.
