Window glazier — Vanderburgh County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a window glazier in Vanderburgh County, Indiana. You will be based at a glazing and fabrication factory. Your main tasks: • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails Requirements: • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
