Brick and block layer wanted in Greene County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Greene County, New York. You will work on a new-build development. Requirements: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one Your main tasks: • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
