Join our team: we are hiring a site carpenter in Polk County, Georgia. You should have: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Own basic hand tools On a typical shift you will hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $160 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends.
