Now hiring: bulldozer operator (Alaska)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bulldozer operator in North Slope Borough, Alaska. You will work at a landfill site. Your main tasks: • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals You should have: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Understanding of safe digging near underground services $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
