Prep cook — Newton County

Now hiring: we are hiring a prep cook in Newton County, Indiana. You will work in a hospital or office canteen. What we are looking for: • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking The role involves: • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
